ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-I GAMING WIFI Intel Z790 LGA 1700 Mini-ITX Motherboard , 10 + 1 power stages, DDR5, 2X M.2 slots, PCI 5.0 NVMe SSD slot, PCIe 5.0 x16 SafeSlot | 90MB1CM0-M0EAY0

The ROG Strix Z790-I Gaming WIFI redefines what is possible in a small footprint. Built for the Intel LGA 1700 socket, it supports the latest Raptor Lake Refresh processors with ease. Its blacked-out aesthetic and intricate "SFF-friendly" layout make it a top choice for boutique PC builds where space is at a premium, but performance is a non-negotiable requirement.

The ROG Strix Hive: Desktop Control Center
One of the most unique features of the Z790-I is the ROG Strix Hive. This external peripheral moves critical hardware functions off the crowded PCB and onto your desk. It houses an ALC4050 audio codec with an ESS SABRE 9260Q DAC, a large volume dial, and Q-LED diagnostic lights. It even includes an AI Overclocking button and a USB 2.0 port, allowing you to manage your system's performance and peripherals without reaching behind your case.

Innovative Thermal Design & Storage
Managing heat in a tiny case is a challenge, which is why ASUS utilized a triple-decker heatsink array. This design stacks the two M.2 slots and the chipset heatsinks to save space while providing excellent cooling for PCIe 5.0 NVMe storage. The VRM is cooled by a large integrated heatsink and a high-conductivity thermal pad, ensuring that even under heavy gaming loads, the 10+1 power stages remain cool and stable.

Elite Connectivity: Thunderbolt 4 and WiFi 6E
Connectivity is surprisingly expansive for a Mini-ITX board. It features Dual Thunderbolt™ 4 ports, offering 40Gbps of bandwidth for high-speed external drives or 4K displays. Networking is handled by onboard WiFi 6E, utilizing the new 6GHz band for interference-free wireless gaming, alongside an Intel 2.5Gb Ethernet port for a rock-solid wired connection.
